We are WMH Herion, a medium-sized company from Wolnzach, right in the heart of the Hallertau. For the start of the new apprenticeship year on 01.09. we are offering an apprenticeship place for precision machining mechanics (m/f/d) in Production at our Wolnzach site.

About the profession
As a precision machining mechanic, you plan, machine and produce components both for one-off production and for series production. In doing so, you operate a wide variety of turning, milling and grinding machines and thus manufacture parts for many different industrial sectors.

The apprenticeship content
- Specialisation in grinding technology, milling technology
- Distinguishing, classifying and handling materials and auxiliary materials
- Maintenance of tools and operating equipment
- Manual and machine cutting
- Reading and applying technical documentation
- Planning and controlling work processes
- Setting up machines
- Creating, entering and optimising programs
- Producing and machining workpieces

Apprenticeship duration
- 3.5 years
- With a suitable school-leaving qualification or appropriate previous vocational training, the apprenticeship period can be shortened.
