Whether construction rubble, waste wood, biomass, waste tyres or household waste, the mobile twin-shaft shredders of the ARJES IMPAKTOR line are designed for a wide range of materials. With ten models from the compact 250 class to the 1250 high-performance machine, there is a suitable solution for every application. A well-thought-out quick-change shaft system reduces maintenance times to a minimum, while the tracked undercarriage and hook-lift system offer maximum flexibility for transport and for operation at changing sites.
ARJES IMPAKTOR in various versions
The ARJES IMPAKTOR shredders are among the most powerful mobile twin-shaft shredders on the market. Developed for tough continuous operation in recycling, construction and waste management companies, they reliably process almost any material: construction rubble, concrete, waste wood, biomass, waste tyres, household and commercial waste, scrap metal and even complete vehicle bodies.
The product programme comprises ten models, from the compact 250 class with 129 kW to the 1250 high-performance machine with 585 kW, and thus covers a broad performance range. Electrically driven versions (E-EVO II and 1250 E) are available for stationary use. All models are equipped with a tracked undercarriage and hook-lift mounting as standard, which allows fast transport without special permits on a standard truck or roll-off tipper.
A central feature is the revolutionary quick-change shaft system: the tool shafts can be replaced, serviced or exchanged for a different shaft geometry in the shortest possible time, without risking machine downtime. Different shaft types (concrete shafts, star shafts, tangential shafts, metal shafts) allow precise adaptation to the respective feed material.
Optional screen baskets, disc screens and overband magnets also enable direct fractioning and metal separation during ongoing operation, for maximum efficiency in a single pass.

IMPAKTOR 250 EVO I

The proven classic of the IMPAKTOR series: as a mobile twin-shaft shredder with tracked undercarriage and hook lift, it can be transported without a special permit. Compared with the EVO II, it offers a higher discharge height of 3,450 mm and is the first choice for companies that rely on a mature, flexible system at an attractive entry-level price.
IMPAKTOR 250 EVO II

The successor to the EVO I impresses with a transport height reduced to approx. 2,550 mm, including sea container transport without dismantling the hopper walls. The revised quick-change cassette increases service life, and manually insertable corrugated plates allow precise particle size adjustment. Extended hopper for a 2.50 m wheel loader bucket, at a lower price than the EVO I.

The emission-free version of the EVO II series: with a 160 kW electric motor (frequency converter at no extra charge), it is ideal for stationary use in halls or emission-sensitive areas. The shredder and the control unit can be installed up to 6 m apart, which reduces vibration and dust exposure. Particularly economical in 24/7 continuous operation.

More power in a proven design: with 175 kW / 238 hp, the 350 EVO I offers around 20 % more engine power than the 250 series while keeping the same compact construction, and up to Ø 96 to 120 t/h throughput with construction rubble instead of 80 to 100 t/h with the 250. Ideal for companies that regularly handle hard or bulky feed material.

The IMPAKTOR 850 marks the start of the medium performance class: 8 m³ hopper volume, a discharge height of up to 4,500 mm and a flexible gearbox concept (choice between synchronous and asynchronous gearbox, compatible with T shafts and Hammel shafts) mark the step up from the compact class. The hydraulically damped buggy undercarriage ensures maximum mobility at only 80 dB(A).

With newly developed tangential shafts, the IMPAKTOR 1000 sets new standards in shredding technology. A 10 m³ hopper volume, a CAT C13 engine and an intelligent magnet system (longitudinal and transverse) make it a high-performance machine for aluminium, white goods, vehicle bodies or engine blocks, likewise at only 80 dB(A).

The diesel powerhouse of the premium class: with 15 m³ hopper volume and a throughput of up to 200 t/h with construction rubble or biomass, the IMPAKTOR 1250 D sets the benchmark. The clear width of 1,750 mm between shredder and conveyor belt prevents damage caused by long metal parts such as vehicle axles. Hydraulically damped side walls provide additional protection with non-shreddable material.

The emission-free alternative to the IMPAKTOR 1250 D with full premium-class strength: two 250 kW electric motors (frequency converter at no extra charge) deliver the same performance, ideal for indoor sites or 24/7 operation. A 15 kW electric motor takes care of manoeuvring. Despite the identical performance class, the investment costs are lower than those of the 1250 D.
