Recipients of personal data

Handling of applicant data

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by e-mail, by post or via an online application form). Below we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of the personal data collected from you in the course of the application process. Scope and purpose of data collection

If you send us an application, we process the personal data associated with it (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) to the extent that this is necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general initiation of a contract) and, where you have given your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Within our company, your personal data is only passed on to persons who are involved in processing your application.

If the application is successful, the data you have submitted is stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

Retention period of the data

If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you decline a job offer or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have transmitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application procedure (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data is then deleted and the physical application documents are destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. Perspective itself stores your data exclusively on European servers. For the transfer of data to the United States, Perspective provides additional measures and guarantees in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR in order to ensure an adequate level of protection, for example by concluding standard contractual clauses between Perspective and the sub-processors.

Perspective processes your data on our behalf so that we can make our online services available to you. For this purpose, your IP address is automatically transmitted to Perspective in order to transfer the content and functions of our online services to your browser or terminal device.

II. Legal basis for the data processing

Perspective stores the data listed under I. in so-called log files. This is done in order to ensure

• that a smooth connection to the website is established,

• for further administrative purposes.

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is also necessary in order to enable the website to be delivered to your computer. For this purpose, the IP address of your computer must remain stored for the duration of the session.

III. Duration of the processing

The personal data processed by Perspective is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected:

IV. Meta pixel

Our applicant software uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook/Meta for conversion measurement. According to Facebook, however, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and to other third countries.

This makes it possible to track the behaviour of visitors to the applicant software after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This enables Facebook to display advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside Facebook. We as the site operator have no influence over this use of the data.

We use the advanced matching function within the Meta pixel.

Advanced matching enables us to transmit various types of data (e.g. place of residence, federal state, postcode, hashed e-mail addresses, names, gender, date of birth or telephone number) of our customers and prospective customers that we collect via our website to Meta (Facebook). By activating this function, we can tailor our advertising campaigns on Facebook even more precisely to people who are interested in our offers. Advanced matching also improves the attribution of website conversions and extends custom audiences.

II. Purpose and legal basis of the data processing

‍‍The purpose of this data processing is to ensure the communication initiated by you.

The processing of your data from application forms therefore initially takes place on the basis of your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR. If a contract is initiated via an enquiry form, the legal basis is also Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR. In addition to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR, the legal basis for the processing of the data in an application form may also be Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG.

III. Duration of the processing

‍Your personal data is retained for as long as it is required to fulfil the purpose of the processing, or until you withdraw your consent. Data that Perspective must retain on the basis of statutory obligations is excluded from this principle. This includes, for example, the retention obligations under commercial and tax law. These retention periods are currently up to ten years.

Data processing by social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The individual social networks we use can be found below.

Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. can generally analyse your user behaviour comprehensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media presences triggers numerous processing operations that are relevant to data protection. In detail:

If you are logged in to your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may under certain circumstances also be collected if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your terminal device or by recording your IP address.

With the aid of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you inside and outside the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are logged in or have been logged in.

Please also note that we cannot trace all processing operations on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. Legal basis

Our social media profiles are intended to ensure the broadest possible presence on the internet. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which are to be stated by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Controller and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media profiles (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both with us and with the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. with Facebook).

Please note that, despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence over the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.

Storage period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence is deleted from our systems as soon as you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for the data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the storage period of your data that is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details on this, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).
