Couplings
Passend zu Ihrem Vorhaben, bieten wir Ihnen Kupplungen aus unserem Standard Lagerprogramm an. Weitere Individualisierungen sind auf Anfrage möglich.
In our stock range we offer you the following versions of our couplings:
- SERVO FLEX, flexible coupling
- Oldham couplings
- Standard version
- Compact version
- Slip hubs and spare parts
- Chain couplings
- Slip hub chain couplings
- Gear couplings
- Shaft compensating couplings
Further machining of our standard range to drawing and to customer requirements:
- Finished bore to ISO fit H7
- Keyway to DIN 6885 BI.1
- Set screw thread and fixing hole
Chain couplings
In addition to the standard range, chain couplings are available on request in further frame sizes and in a stainless version.
Shaft compensating couplings
Our standard range offers couplings for maximum speeds of 3,300 to 22,200 min-1 and maximum torques of 15 to 4,800 Nm. For applications requiring higher torques, harder spiders with 95 to 98 Shore A are available.

Good to know: couplings
What advantages do SERVO Flex flexible couplings offer?
Extremely light and torsionally rigid flexible coupling
This coupling model is a metal disc coupling made from a light, high-strength aluminium alloy. Two fastening systems are available for mounting: a bore with keyway and a friction-locked clamping connection. The coupling offers high torsional stiffness and responsiveness. Type 1 with a single element and high rigidity and Type 2 with a double element
with very high flexibility are available. Every coupling type is RoHS compliant.
Features
- Hubs made from high-strength aluminium alloy
- Very low moment of inertia
- No use of hazardous substances, RoHS compliant
- Extremely torsionally rigid “single-element” coupling
- Highly flexible “double-element” coupling
- Compatible with tapered shafts
- Clamping element adjusted with just one screw
Detailed product information with further details of the new coupling series is available on request – there you will find a full description of the types as well as the geometric dimensions and performance data of the various frame sizes. Please send us your
enquiry if required!
Why are slip hubs important for protecting drives?
How are chain couplings constructed?
Standard chain couplings consist of 2 standard sprockets with a hub on one side, which are coupled to each other by a duplex roller chain to DIN 8187. They ensure flexible transmission of the torque. Thanks to its simple design, the connection can be released quickly. Small deviations in shaft alignment are compensated for. Even so, we recommend keeping these deviations as small as possible.
When selecting the chain coupling, multiply the power to be transmitted by the shock factor (between 1.0 and 4.0) and select the coupling size according to the resulting product.
What properties do our gear couplings have?
Our gear couplings are torsionally rigid shaft connections that compensate for axial (+ 1 mm), radial (+ 0.4 mm) and angular (2°) shaft misalignment. Thanks to the crowned tooth form and the plastic/steel material pairing, the couplings operate maintenance-free even in continuous duty and are virtually wear-free. The nominal torques [Mt] may be exceeded by 100 % for short periods.
The standard shaft compensating couplings are supplied with a spider of 92 Shore A. For higher torques, a spider with 95 to 98 Shore A can be used – please send us your enquiry!
