For long travel distances with high dynamics, rack and pinion drives are the first choice. The combination of a low-backlash planetary gear unit and a high-precision pinion enables positioning accurate to the µm, even over several metres of travel. For shorter strokes with the highest accuracy requirements, ball screws are recommended. Can I have standard parts adapted? Yes. WMH Herion cuts racks to length, adds holes, threads and grooves and supplies many parts ready for installation. This is often faster than manufacturing a new part. Does WMH Herion also supply complete assemblies? Yes. In addition to individual components, we offer assembled handling axes and complex multi-axis systems, fully assembled, tested and ready for use. How quickly are standard items available? Most items from the stock programme are available immediately and are delivered within a few working days.
