Thanks to its roll-off and container-trailer compatibility, the machine can be transported quickly and easily. This makes it equally suitable for municipal operations, recycling centres and commercial processing plants, wherever conveyable materials are to be separated and further processed efficiently. The WMH Herion S-318 is designed for a broad range of materials: compost, humus, green waste, wood chips, waste wood, organic waste, construction rubble, household waste and many other bulk materials. The infinitely variable drum speed control enables precise adaptation to the respective feed material. The S-318 is hook-lift mobile: it can be transported by roll-off trailer or directly on a container trailer, without a special permit. The transport dimensions are approx. 7,500 × 2,550 × 2,750 mm at a weight of approx. 10,500 kg. This means the machine can be moved quickly and easily between different sites. Additional screening drums with perforations from 8 mm to 60 mm are available as optional equipment. This allows different grain sizes to be set depending on the application. Thanks to the large, sturdy doors and the special change system, the drum change is simple and quick to carry out. The maximum throughput is up to 125 m³/h, depending on the material properties and the drum speed setting. The infinitely variable speed control via variable displacement pump (0 to 20 rpm, optionally 0 to 24 rpm) enables precise adaptation to changing feed material. As standard, the S-318 is operated via three-phase power (32 A) with an electrohydraulic drive. Optionally, the drive can also be supplied by an external hydraulic circuit (75 litres/160 bar), e.g. directly from a lorry or tractor. Commissioning and maintenance are easily possible using a cordless-drill pump or emergency pump.
