New markets are successfully opened up as a result. At the same time, the requirements grow along with the expansion. With Claude Herion, the restructuring and realignment of the core business is driven forward. The WMH product portfolio is continuously expanded in order to meet customer requirements. 1973 ### Wolfgang Herion takes over the management International expansion also begins under the new management. 1947 ### Move to Pfaffenhofen / Bavaria & renaming to WMH Herion After the events in Berlin, Ernst Herion leaves Berlin and once again founds a company in Pfaffenhofen, the WMH Herion. Even then, business success is based both on constructive dialogue between the company and its customers and on a keen sense of the particular requirements of the time. 1945-1946 ### Destruction and reconstruction Towards the end of the Second World War, the production facility is almost completely destroyed.
